Biography
Cologne-based DJ, producer & remixer voltaxx describes himself as a tireless studio buff, insatiable music sourcer, and full-blown vegetarian. His journey as producer began with the goal to create sounds catered to high-nouveau clubs and discerning music lovers. His aim was to emulate the physical space of a live venue and transfer that experience in the studio. Post the new millennium he heuristilly leamed and polished his style of music production, as well as his vocal and live/DJ performances. Concurrently his diverse influences and passions have led him to create a plethora of musical entities.
As a producer, Voltaxx's early tracks found a home on cutting-edge labels including Superstar, Urban, Highball, and Alphabet City. His mark of quality led to remix duties for cult tracks such as Benny Benassi "Satisfaction", Black Box "Ride On Time" as well as for a massive list of artists including 2Raumwohnung, Sinead O'Connor & Ghostland and Pure Orange.
Lissat & Voltaxx
In 2006 he joined forces with techno guru Jens Lissat to form Lissat & Voltaxx, which has become one of the mom respected German production and DJ teams. Their list of hits, remixes and collaborations is nothing short of huge including the likes of Tom Novy, My Digital Enemy, Manuel De La Mare, DJ Chus, and remixed by stellar producers including Alex Kenji, Crazibiza, D-Nox & Beckers, Amo & Navas, as well as remixing iconic artists such as Deadmau5, Roger Sanchez, Peter Rauhofer, Milk & Sugar and huge hits such as Dalerium "Silence", Da Hool "Meet Her At The Love Parade".

Contemporary DJ culture
Across his various creative entities, Voltaxx has an impressive knack for consistency in producing, collaborating, and remixing music which achieve important chart results & public performance globally throughout the metamorphosis of media & music consumption technologies.
As a DJ, Voltaxx has maintained his preference for quality as the critical factor in his sets, resisting contemporary DJ culture fads which typically limit musil freedom in favour of niches. Loosely defined, he favours stylish vocal tracks with smooth beats ranging from the many sub-genres of house, techno and progressive and delivers high-quality music which embraces emotional and sound palettes. He tours his various projects non-stop globally.
